Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Ensures CAPLICO Core Values and Code of Conduct are followed at all times. Maintains compliance with Resident Rights, HIPAA, company policies, and regulatory requirements. Supports and mentors Wellness Directors and wellness leaders in their professional growth. Provides staff education and training as needed. Maintains knowledge of current assisted living regulations and helps communities remain compliant with company, pharmacy, state, and federal requirements. Conducts community audits to ensure completion of resident assessments, service plans, monthly summaries, medication records, and other required clinical documentation. Completes community visits at least every other month and provides written findings and follow-up recommendations to leadership. Conducts quarterly medication audits or more frequently as needed. Assists with annual mock surveys and regulatory readiness efforts. Participates in regional meetings, calls, and other assigned leadership activities. Promotes resident safety, quality care, infection prevention, and timely reporting of incidents as required. Responds promptly and professionally to market and community leadership requests. Delegation Responsibilities Assumes authority, accountability, and responsibility for nursing delegation. Ensures compliance with all applicable delegation laws, regulations, and policies. Applies the Five Rights of Delegation. Assesses, trains, and validates competency of unlicensed staff performing delegated tasks. Plans, schedules, and conducts delegation-related training and education. Maintains education, competency, and delegation records. Partners with community leadership to evaluate delegation processes and ensure ongoing compliance. Provides ongoing coaching, observation, and support related to delegated responsibilities. Supervisory Responsibilities Provides administrative and functional oversight of unlicensed personnel performing delegated nursing tasks.
Qualifications:
Required Active, unencumbered RN license. Minimum of one year of experience in assisted living or healthcare. Knowledge of assisted living regulations and nursing delegation practices. Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and training skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, email, and electronic documentation systems. Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record. Ability to travel regularly to assigned communities. Preferred Prior supervisory or leadership experience in a healthcare setting. Experience with clinical audits, compliance, quality assurance, and staff education.
