Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. No nights, weekends, or holidays. Stable full-time schedule. Position Overview We are seeking a full-time Registered Nurse to join an experienced and reputable hand surgeon and PA in a fast-paced private practice setting. This role is ideal for an RN seeking a rewarding specialty outpatient position with close physician collaboration and a strong team culture. The clinic nurse serves as a key clinical team member and essentially serves as the face of this provider's practice - answering patient questions, coordinating the physician OR schedule, assisting with in-office procedures, occasionally serving as a first assist in the operating room, and providing some direct patient care. This is an excellent opportunity for nurses who value meaningful patient relationships, teamwork, and professional growth in a specialized orthopedic setting. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, procedures, treatments, and post-care instructions. Assist physicians and providers during clinic and in-office procedures. Provide occasional assistance in the operating room. Prepare equipment and treatment rooms for procedures and patient visits. Manage physician surgery schedules and assist with care coordination. Maintain accurate documentation and support efficient clinic flow. Provide direct patient care, including bandage changes, suture removal, casting, and splint application/removal. Qualifications Current Wisconsin Registered Nurse license required Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required Current CPR certification required Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities Computer proficiency and comfort with electronic medical records Experience Experience in orthopedics, surgery, or outpatient clinic setting is preferred but not required.
