1 Description American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Stepdown Intermediate Care position requiring at least 2 years of MS or IMCU experience and the ability to care for a diverse patient population on night shifts. Details Step Down / Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) in a hospital setting Night shift: 19:00-07:30 Every 3rd weekend or every other weekend (EOW) based on department needs Holiday coverage required (EOH) May be required to float within skill set to other units onsite or to sister sites within 40 miles Patient population includes stroke, cardiac, post-op (ortho, GU, GYN, general surgery), and general medical patients Cardiac drip experience preferred

EMR:

Epic (experience required) Requirements Active WI or compact RN license currently in hand Current BLS and ACLS certifications (both must be AHA-issued) NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg or IMCU experience required Adaptability to care for a wide variety of patient types, including cardiac drip management Prior travel nursing experience preferred Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a valid US home address Two professional references required for consideration Copy of Driver's License required for consideration Full SSN and full date of birth required for consideration Additional Information 13-week contract Local candidates are accepted but are subject to a reduced pay rate based on proximity to the facility Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to assignment start Any disciplinary actions on licensure require completion of a FACIS Questionnaire with supporting board documents COVID vaccination is not required
