Desired Experience and Qualifications:
Current RN license, eligible for Wisconsin practice Minimum of 1-2 years recent experience in the Operating Room (OR) Competency in perioperative nursing standards, including pre-op and post-op care BLS and ACLS certifications (current and in good standing) Ability to quickly adapt to new environments and electronic charting systems Strong communication, teamwork, and critical thinking skills
Key Responsibilities:
Provide safe and effective care for patients undergoing surgical procedures Collaborate with surgical teams including surgeons, anesthesia providers, and fellow nurses Ensure strict adherence to sterile techniques and OR protocols Document care and patient assessments accurately in the electronic medical record Support patient advocacy throughout the perioperative phase
