Days (0630-1900), 12-hour shifts. Includes every third weekend and a holiday rotation. Job Overview We are seeking an experienced and adaptable Registered Nurse (RN) for a Skilled Nursing unit at a healthcare facility in Janesville, WI. This is a short-term, 8-week travel assignment perfect for a nurse looking for a day-shift schedule in a supportive, multi-disciplinary environment.Please note:
Travelers may be asked to float to other in-patient units based on facility census.Essential Duties & Responsibilities Patient Care:
Utilize the nursing process to collaborate with interdisciplinary team members and deliver high-quality patient care.Medication & Treatment:
Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques, facility policies, and WI State laws/practice acts.Care Planning:
Develop, initiate, and execute individualized patient plans of care, including patient and family education.Documentation:
Maintain accurate and timely documentation according to standards of care using theEPIC EMR
system.Safety & Collaboration:
Utilize critical thinking to ensure patient safety and an excellent patient experience, escalating concerns through the chain of command when necessary. Participate in unit performance improvement activities.Position Requirements Experience:
Open to all levels of experience (minimum less than 1 year).Licensure:
Active Wisconsin (WI) State RN License.Certifications:
CurrentBLS/BCLS
certification.Compliance:
Education verification and CPR certification required.Flexibility:
