$1,600.00•$1,704.00 Weekly DOE Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Emergency Room (ER) team. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive emergency care to patients experiencing acute health crises, ensuring rapid assessment, stabilization, and treatment. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in emergency medicine, critical care, and trauma settings, demonstrating proficiency in advanced nursing procedures and a strong commitment to patient safety and quality care. This position offers an opportunity to work within a dynamic environment dedicated to delivering exceptional emergency services. Responsibilities Perform thorough patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and medical history reviews to determine urgency and prioritize care. Administer medications, including IV infusions and injections, following prescribed protocols while monitoring for adverse reactions. Manage airway maintenance and ventilator support for critically ill patients requiring respiratory assistance. Conduct procedures such as suturing, catheterization, phlebotomy, and sterile dressing changes adhering to aseptic techniques. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with best practices in emergency medicine. Document all patient interactions accurately within Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems such as Epic or Cerner, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations. Provide patient education on discharge instructions, medication management, and follow-up care to promote recovery and safety. Participate in trauma response protocols within Level I or Level II trauma centers, including triage and rapid intervention for severely injured patients. Support infection control measures and maintain a sterile environment during all procedures. Assist in training new staff or students in emergency nursing procedures and protocols.
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of ER experience required First-time travelers accepted AHA or American Red Cross BLS required ACLS required PALS required at submission NIHSS required before start date Epic experience level 3 or 4 required Must complete time-sensitive modules before start
