Job Description

We are seeking a Long Term Care RN for a facility in Marshfield, WI. The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background, excellent assessment skills, and a genuine commitment to enhancing the quality of life for residents. This role involves delivering personalized patient care, managing complex health needs, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal health outcomes. The Long-Term Care Registered Nurse will play a vital role in maintaining high standards of safety, comfort, and dignity for all residents. •Candidates will be asked to help in both LTC and Psych Units• 2 openings available: 9a-10:30p with every 3rd weekend or 36 hr variable Days/NOC with every 3rd weekend 1 year of experience in the last two years required BLS through the AHA or Red Cross required $46/hr for local $1,845/week estimated gross for travel Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and medication reconciliation, to develop individualized care plans. Monitor residents' conditions closely, recognizing signs of acute pain, infection, or deterioration, and respond promptly with appropriate interventions. Provide education and support to residents and their families regarding health management, medication administration, and discharge planning. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver holistic care Ensure infection control standards are upheld through proper sterilization procedures and aseptic techniques during all patient interactions. Skills Proven experience in long-term care environments such as nursing homes or assisted living facilities. Ability to perform comprehensive physical examinations and diagnostic evaluations with attention to anatomy and physiology principles. Excellent communication skills for triage assessments, patient education, case management, and interdisciplinary collaboration. Competence in handling emergency situations such as airway management or acute pain episodes while maintaining a calm demeanor under pressure.

From $46.00 per hour
