1 Description American Traveler is hiring an experienced IR RN for an Interventional Radiology position at a Level 4 Trauma facility in Southeast Wisconsin, requiring at least 5 years of IR/conscious sedation experience and Epic proficiency. Details Work in the Interventional Radiology unit of a 60-bed Level 4 Trauma facility located outside of Kenosha, WI One main IR procedure room and one minor procedure room Patient population includes outpatient, inpatient, and ED cases covering general/body IR procedures: biopsies, AAA, Y90s, peripheral cases, thrombolysis/thrombectomy, kyphoplasty/vertebroplasty, embolization, nephrostomy tubes, G/GJ tube placement, drain placement, IVC filter placement, trialysis/permacath placement, paras/thoracentesis, and fistulograms — no neuro IR Average daily census of 7-15 cases per day 8-hour day shift, Monday through Friday, with rotating start times of 0730-1600 or 0800-1630 On-call rotation required: every 3rd-4th weekend (Friday night through Monday morning) and 1-2 weeknights per week, with a 1-hour response time One holiday required per contract Occasional floating to CT to assist with special procedures

Siemens rooms Requirements Active WI or Compact RN license required Current BLS and ACLS certifications required Minimum 5 years of IR and conscious sedation/procedure experience required, with most recent experience within the last year Hands-on experience with the full range of general/body IR procedures listed above Epic EMR experience required At least one professional reference from a Supervisor, Manager, Director, or Charge RN dated within the past year required for consideration Candidate's middle name or initial, date of birth, and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration Additional Information Level 4 Trauma facility located in the Southeast Wisconsin area Unit team consists of 3 techs and 4 RNs total, supported by an RRT/Code Blue Team, RT available 24/7, and Hospitalist available 24/7 Orientation is up to 1 week total (facility and unit) Schedule is made in 4-week increments and released 2 weeks prior to the start of each cycle Hospital-provided scrubs and free parking available First-time travelers are welcome to apply Former employees of Advocate Health or any of its subsidiaries must have been separated for at least 12 months before being eligible Local candidates are accepted at the same rate — no radius restrictions apply
