Job Description

Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN) - Night Shift (Travel Contract)
Location:
Viroqua, WI Shift:
12-Hour Nights (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
Schedule:
72 hours per bi-weekly pay period Weekend rotation: Required to work 2 out of every 3 weekends (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday) Holiday rotation required Responsibilities Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in the Emergency Department. Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients with acute and emergent conditions. Monitor patient status and communicate changes to providers and interdisciplinary team members. Administer medications, treatments, and procedures according to hospital policies and standards of care. Maintain accurate and timely documentation using EPIC electronic medical records. Respond effectively to emergency and critical situations. Provide patient and family education regarding treatment plans and discharge instructions. Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and ancillary staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Required:
Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice. Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience . Experience working in a fast-paced emergency care environment. Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills. Proficiency with
EPIC EMR
system.
Preferred:
Previous experience in a Critical Access Hospital or rural healthcare setting. Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications (as applicable). Pay Breakdown (Traveler): Weekly Amount = $2,398 Taxable Amount = $1,152 Non-Taxable Amount = $1,246 Overtime Rate = $82.61/hr Pay Breakdown (Local):
Hourly Pay:
