Full-Time Contract Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Occupational Health Nurse to support a manufacturing environment by providing occupational health services, injury assessment, first aid treatment, regulatory compliance support, and employee wellness initiatives. This role serves as a key member of the plant's health and safety team and works closely with leadership, safety personnel, and medical providers to promote employee health and workplace safety. Essential Responsibilities Occupational Health & Employee Care Assess and treat workplace illnesses and injuries within scope of practice Provide first aid and emergency medical response as needed Coordinate employee return-to-work and modified duty programs Maintain employee medical records and confidentiality standards Assist with pre-employment health screenings and physical clearances Safety & Compliance Programs Manage hearing conservation programs, including audiometric testing and employee education Conduct respirator fit testing and support respiratory protection programs Perform spirometry and pulmonary function testing Maintain OSHA logs and occupational health documentation Assist with medical surveillance programs, including silica exposure monitoring Workers' Compensation & Case Management Coordinate workers' compensation activities and follow-up care Conduct injury investigations and documentation Collaborate with supervisors and safety teams to reduce workplace injuries Support rehabilitation and return-to-work initiatives Health & Wellness Programs Administer drug and alcohol screening programs Support emergency response and first responder training Participate in ergonomic assessments and injury prevention efforts Assist with employee wellness and health education initiatives Minimum Qualifications Current RN or LPN license in Wisconsin (or compact state eligibility) Current CPR/AED certification Experience in occupational health, emergency nursing, urgent care, industrial medicine, or related setting Strong documentation and computer skills Ability to work independently in a manufacturing environment Preferred Qualifications Occupational Health Nursing experience NIOSH Spirometry Certification CAOHC Hearing Conservation Certification Experience with OSHA recordkeeping Drug and alcohol testing certification Case management experience Workers' compensation experience

$43.00 - $50.00 per hour
