REGISTERED NURSE
to join our
HEART FAILURE RESOURCE CENTER
team! The Heart Failure Resource Center Triage RN-Heart Failure Clinic RN provides specialized care for patients with heart failure through assessment, symptom management, medication monitoring, patient education, and care coordination. Responsibilities include evaluating fluid volume status, administering IV diuretics, and responding to medical emergencies. Collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to optimize outcomes and reduce hospitalizations.
HOURS :
Full Time or .9 FTE, 72 hours every pay period. 9-hour shifts Monday - Friday with a varying day off each week. Experience/Qualifications Associate degree in nursing required. Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred. Certification in specialty desired. Minimum of one year practicing as a RN preferred. Possesses an active Wisconsin RN nursing license. Possesses an active Michigan RN nursing license with 3 months of hire date. ACLS certification within 6 months of hire date. Certified Heart Failure Nurse (CHFN) certification with 2 years of hire date. Maintains specialty certification as per department scope of service. Current BLS certification or obtained within 90 days of hire - All clinical personnel in identified job codes are required to maintain Basic Life Support (BLS) training through independent study, manikin, and knowledge testing. An acceptable BLS training program is the Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider course from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross Professional Rescuer Program with AED.
