s@twshealth.com Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will provide exceptional patient care across a variety of clinical settings, utilizing your expertise to promote health, manage acute and chronic conditions, and support patients through their recovery journey. Your proactive approach and strong clinical skills will ensure high-quality outcomes while fostering a caring environment for diverse patient populations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in patients' lives through comprehensive nursing care. Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and medical history documentation using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) and EHR (Electronic Health Records) systems. Administer medications via injection, IV infusion, and other routes following aseptic technique and safety protocols. Manage complex care procedures such as catheterization, tube feeding, wound suturing, ostomy care, and ventilator management. Coordinate diagnostic evaluations including laboratory specimen collection/processing, radiology orders like mammography or sonography, and diagnostic evaluation for infectious diseases. Provide specialized care in areas such as ICU, emergency medicine, trauma medicine at Level I or Level II trauma centers, geriatrics including memory care and Alzheimer's care, pediatrics including neonatal ventilator management, and hospice & palliative medicine. Assist with discharge planning, case management, health coaching, and patient education to promote optimal recovery and health maintenance. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain accurate medical documentation while adhering to NCQA standards and ICD coding requirements. Support infection control practices and maintain sterile processing standards to ensure patient safety across all clinical environments. Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams including physicians, therapists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient-centered care. Qualifications Valid RN license with current registration in the state of practice. Proven experience in medical-surgical nursing; critical care experience such as ICU or trauma center preferred. Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems like Epic, Cerner, Athenahealth or eClinicalWorks is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, pharmacology, medical terminology, ICD-10/ICD-9 coding systems, CPT coding for procedures. Competence in performing IV insertion, phlebotomy, venipuncture, suturing, aseptic technique and airway management. Experience working with diverse populations including pediatrics (neonatal to toddler), geriatrics (memory/dementia care), individuals with disabilities or developmental disabilities. Ability to handle high-pressure situations in emergency room settings or Level I/II trauma centers with acute pain management skills. Excellent communication skills for patient assessment and education; capable of working independently or within a team environment.
