Interim RN Staff Development Coordinator - Skilled Nursing Facility Are you ready for a change of scenery in your nursing career? We're looking for an exceptional RN Staff Development Coordinator to serve as a clinical expert in a skilled nursing facility in Parkersburg, West Virginia As a travel RN Staff Development Coordinator with LeaderStat, you'll get the opportunity to meet healthcare professionals from all over the nation, sharpen your clinical skillset, and lead an interdisciplinary team, all while providing top-of-the-line care to residents. When you join the LeaderStat team, you'll be connected with a dedicated specialist before and during your assignment. They will work with you to coordinate onboarding, book and pay for travel arrangements, and assist with any questions along the way. Stipend For this contract, you will receive a stipend to assist with expenses. A stipend is defined as a weekly, untaxed sum of money to pay for lodging, meals, transportation, and incidental expenses. This puts you in control of your own money! Job Duties Motivate staff to achieve outstanding results Ensure quality care for all residents Communicate effectively with team members, residents, and their families Assist in developing individual care plans Oversee staff who provide direct patient care, such as Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) Providing companionship and comfort to all residents Job Requirements/Qualifications At least two years of clinical experience as an RN in a long-term care setting Two years of nurse management experience Active RN license in the state assigned, or in an eligible Nurse Compact State Plan, organize, develop, and direct all in-service educational programs throughout the facility in accordance with current applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations to assure that the highest degree of quality resident care can be maintained at all times.
