Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. Shift 7:00 am to 3:30pm Duties Conduct thorough patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and detailed health histories to inform individualized care plans. Administer medications via injections, IV infusions, and other methods while adhering to aseptic techniques and safety protocols. Perform advanced procedures such as suturing, catheterization, tube feeding, and ostomy care with precision and professionalism. Manage acute pain and provide specialized care for patients in critical conditions within ICU or trauma center settings. Utilize EMR systems like Epic, Cerner, Athenahealth, or eClinicalWorks for accurate medical documentation, coding (ICD-9/10), and laboratory data entry. Coordinate patient care activities including discharge planning, case management, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. Support infection control protocols and maintain sterile processing standards to ensure patient safety. Assist in triage assessments in urgent care or emergency room environments to prioritize patient needs effectively. Deliver specialized care for diverse populations such as pediatrics, geriatrics, individuals with developmental disabilities, or those requiring hospice or palliative medicine. Educate patients on health coaching topics including medication management, nutrition, and chronic disease management.
