Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Intensive Care Unit (ICU)/Coronary Care Unit (CCU) Registered Nurse to provide exceptional care for critically ill adult patients in a fast-paced acute care setting. The ideal candidate is confident in managing complex medical and cardiac conditions, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and responding quickly to life-threatening emergencies. Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients requiring continuous monitoring and advanced interventions in the ICU and CCU . Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans. Monitor and interpret hemodynamic data, cardiac rhythms, and changes in patient condition. Administer high-risk medications, vasoactive and titratable IV drips, anticoagulants, blood products, and advanced cardiac medications. Care for patients requiring mechanical ventilation, sedation, advanced airway management, temporary pacemakers, and post-cardiac intervention monitoring. Operate and monitor critical care equipment including ventilators, arterial lines, central venous catheters, Swan-Ganz catheters, infusion pumps, CRRT, and intra-aortic balloon pumps (IABP), when applicable. Respond rapidly to medical emergencies, Code Blue activations, STEMI alerts, rapid response events, and cardiac arrests. Collaborate with physicians, cardiologists, intensivists, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes. Requirements Current RN license Minimum of 2 years of recent ICU and/or CCU experience preferred BLS certification ACLS certification NIH Stroke Scale (preferred)
Pay:
$2,550.00 per week
