1 Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Women's Services / Labor & Delivery night shift position in Lander, WY, requiring 2 years of OB experience and active WY or compact RN licensure. Details Hospital-based OB unit providing Women's Services care Patient population includes Labor & Delivery, antepartum, postpartum, OB/GYN (including post-op hysterectomy), triage, and LDRP cases Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM Every other weekend required Floating to another unit may be required based on census, in a helping hands or sitter capacity only 13-week contract Requirements Active WY RN license or compact RN license required and must be currently in hand Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NRP, S.T.A.B.L.E., and AWHONN (BLS and ACLS must be through the American Heart Association; RQI certifications are not accepted) Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience in L&D/LDRP, postpartum, Level 1 Nursery, or OB/GYN SSN and date of birth required for consideration No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months All required certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start date Additional Information Responsibilities include circulating during C-sections, attending deliveries to assist the physician, and providing recovery and post-surgical care per policy Assesses neonates at the neonatal station in the C-section suite following delivery Maintains fetal monitoring certification on a biennial basis Collaborates across disciplines to coordinate patient transfers, discharges, referrals, and psychosocial support needs Provides patient and family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are subject to a local pay rate
