POSITION SUMMARY

Provides safe therapeutic care in a holistic and systematic way in a high-paced work environment that serves to maximize patient flow by expediting admissions and discharges throughout the organization. Integrates knowledge, skills, and experiences to meet the needs of patients and families throughout the continuum to include patient and family education. Maintains competency to provide supportive care, such as, basic nursing duties utilizing standards, guidelines, protocols, or pathways for care delivery. Incorporates data and information to continuously improve care and practice to enhance outcomes. Ensures improvements in practice settings by assuming responsibility for self-development.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Education Associate degree in nursing or equivalent Minimum Experience Proficiency in Cerner electronic medical record; 3 years of bedside nursing experience. Proficient in admitting and discharging aspects within Cerner. Required Registration/License/Certification Registered Nursing License BLS within 90 days of hire Preferred Education Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field Preferred Experience Recent hospital experience and/or previous nursing practice experience preferred Preferred Registration/License/Certification N/A Other Requirements N/A
