Registration Clerk - Rotating Night Schedule in Emergency Room Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Registration Clerk in the Emergency Room, where your organizational skills and compassionate approach will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care. This position offers a rotating night schedule, providing a unique opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced medical environment while maintaining a flexible work routine.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and register patients efficiently and courteously upon arrival in the emergency department Collect and verify patient information, including personal details, insurance information, and medical history Enter data accurately into the hospital's electronic health record system Assist patients with completing necessary forms and provide guidance on hospital procedures Coordinate with medical staff and other departments to ensure smooth patient flow Maintain confidentiality and security of all patient information in compliance with privacy regulations Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling, data entry, and document management as needed Respond to patient inquiries and provide excellent customer service in a high-pressure environment We foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment that values growth, innovation, and the well-being of our staff. Requirements:
Skills and Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in administrative or healthcare support is a plus Previous experience in registration, customer service, or administrative roles preferred Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks efficiently Flexibility to work rotating night shifts, including weekends and holidays Proficiency with computer systems and data entry software Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
