Together we achieve more Benson Hospital is a 16-bed inpatient/swing bed, eight-bed Emergency Department and Level IV Trauma Center with a multitude of outpatient services. Admitting Clerk Full Time- Swing Shift (3pm to 11pm) Seeking a Admitting Clerk to serve as the first point of contact for customers of Benson Hospital; initiates the entry point for requested healthcare services and maintains and fosters effective public relations with patients and visitors. Works with patients to verify insurance eligibility, benefits, and authorizations for services rendered to ensure financial reimbursement for the facility. Responsible for computerized patient demographics, registration, and insurance/benefit information.
