  • Behavioral Health River People Health Center (RPHC) is seeking skilled and compassionate Behavioral Health Medical Support Assistant to provide trauma-informed front desk and administrative support for SRPMIC Community Members and other tribal members.
Who Are We? The Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community (SRPMIC) is a sovereign tribe located in the metropolitan Phoenix area. Bounded by the cities of Scottsdale, Tempe, Mesa and Fountain Hills, the Community serves over 9,000 tribal members, and all people conduct business over approximately 96 square miles of residential, agricultural and commercial lands, as a full-service government entity. Examples of Tasks What does the job look like? Working at River People Health Center offers a unique opportunity to serve in a state-of-the-art facility that prioritizes patient-centered care. Working for Behavioral Health, you are the first point-of-contact for visitors and patients. This position will facilitate patient admission, assemble patient records, and perform tasks regarding patient admission. This position may reinvolve customer service with members of the public or visitors. This position will also assist with coordination appointments and referrals with medical specialists and may arrange transportation for clients. Providing trauma informed administrative support is an essential function, maintaining awareness of medically emergent situations is required. What do you have? SRPMIC contributes 5% of your compensation to the pre-tax 401(k) and matches up to 3% of your salary deferral contributions. Public Safety Personnel Retirement System (PSPRS): Available to eligible certified police officers and firefighters. Arizona State Retirement System (ASRS): Available to Salt River School educators.
