Position Overview NCCH is seeking a dependable and customer-focused Rehabilitation Aide / Registration Clerk to support both clinical and front-office functions within the Rehabilitation Department. This role assists therapists with patient care activities while also handling patient registration, scheduling, and insurance verification Schedule Information Full Time On-Site 40 Hours Monday -Friday 8:00am-4:30pm Key Responsibilities Assist Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapists with patient care activities Prepare, clean, and maintain treatment areas and equipment between patients Transport patients safely to and from treatment Schedule patient appointments and maintain therapy schedules Register patients, verify insurance, and collect co-pays and required documentation Obtain and verify authorizations and physician orders as needed Enter charges, process payments, and assist with patient account Answer and direct phone calls professionally Provide clerical support to the Rehabilitation Department Qualifications - Required High school diploma or equivalent Preferred Qualifications Bilingual in Spanish Previous healthcare, clerical, or customer service experience Skills & Competencies Strong customer service and communication skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Basic computer and data entry skills Knowledge of medical terminology and HIPAA regulations Ability to work effectively with patients, staff, and providers Physical Requirements Ability to stand and remain active for extended periods Ability to assist with patient transport and support Ability to lift and move equipment as needed Why Join NCCH?
