Evening Shift; Shift varies. Could be weekdays or weekends for afterhours urgent care depending on operational needs.

Purpose Statement/Position Summary:

The Medical Assistant/Patient Services Rep provides patient-families with a positive experience at CHLA by performing a variety of patient care and clerical activities to assist physicians, nursing and clerical personnel.

Minimum Qualifications/Work Experience:

1+ years of experience in similar role preferred. Pediatrics experience preferred. Bilingual (English/Spanish or English/Mandarin), but not required.

Education/Licensure/Certifications:

Graduate of an accredited medical assistant program required. American Heart Association BLS required. California Medical Assistant certification preferred.

Pay Scale Information:

Final determination of a successful candidate's starting pay will vary based on a number of factors, including, but not limited to, education and experience within the job or the industry. The pay scale listed for this position is generally for candidates who meet the specified qualifications and requirements listed on this specific job description. Additional pay may be determined for those candidates who exceed these specified qualifications and requirements.
