Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Bilingual (Spanish) FullTime Medical Office Receptionist to join our healthcare team. In this vital role, you will be the friendly face and first point of contact for patients, visitors, and healthcare providers. Your enthusiasm and professionalism will ensure a smooth and welcoming experience for everyone who walks through our doors. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to patient care while developing your skills in medical administrative support and office management. Responsibilities Greet patients and visitors warmly, providing exceptional customer service at the front desk Manage multi-line phone systems with professional phone etiquette, scheduling appointments, and answering inquiries Verify insurance coverage, perform insurance verification, and assist with billing processes using medical billing software such as Practice Fusion, etc. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation review in compliance with HIPAA regulations Assist with appointment scheduling, patient intake, and data entry using EMR (Electronic Medical Record) systems like eClinicalWorks or Dentrix Support medical office operations by filing, organizing medical records, and managing office supplies Collaborate with clinical staff to facilitate care plans, CPT coding, ICD-10/ICD-9 coding, and other documentation needs Requirements Prior experience in a medical clinic / office or healthcare setting is highly preferred. Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office suite and health information management software Ability to handle sensitive patient information in accordance with HIPAA standards Bilingual (Spanish) abilities are desirable to serve diverse patient populations effectively Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for documentation review and filing tasks Exceptional communication skills with professional phone etiquette Office management experience including appointment scheduling, insurance verification, and front desk operations Join us as a Full-Time Medical Office Receptionist and be a key part of delivering compassionate healthcare support.
