The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing front desk tasks and insurance processes. This position is essential for facilitating effective communication between patients, and insurance companies, within a dental office setting. Responsibilities Verify patient insurance coverage and benefits prior to appointments. Accurately code orthodontic procedures using ADA standards. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of dental terminology and coding practices. Process insurance claims efficiently and follow up on outstanding claims. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations in all patient interactions and documentation. Provide excellent customer service by answering patient inquiries regarding insurance and financial matters Assist in maintaining organized patient records and documentation related to insurance claims. Experience Previous experience in a orthodontic office or dental office setting is preferred. Knowledge of dental terminology and insurance verification processes is essential. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are required to manage multiple tasks effectively. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while maintaining professionalism at all times.
