In this vital role, you will serve as the first point of contact for prospective patients, guiding them through the admissions process with enthusiasm and professionalism. Your proactive approach will ensure a smooth, welcoming experience for all individuals seeking our services. By managing patient inquiries, coordinating appointments, and supporting administrative functions, you will contribute to delivering exceptional patient care and operational efficiency. Responsibilities Greet and assist patients and visitors in a friendly, professional manner, creating a positive first impression. Collect and verify patient information, including personal details, insurance data, and medical history, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Schedule appointments and coordinate with medical staff to optimize patient flow and reduce wait times. Maintain organized records of patient admissions, updating electronic health records (EHR) systems accurately and efficiently. Provide support with medical administrative tasks such as processing forms, verifying insurance coverage, and handling confidential information. Communicate clearly with patients regarding procedures, required documentation, and next steps in their care journey. Collaborate with medical office staff to streamline admissions processes and improve overall patient experience. Experience Previous experience working in a medical office or healthcare environment is highly preferred. Familiarity with medical terminology enhances communication with clinical staff and patients. Proven ability to support medical administrative functions efficiently in a fast-paced setting. Office experience demonstrating organizational skills and attention to detail is essential. Experience working in a dental or similar healthcare office is a valuable asset.
