Job Description

Job Description Haines Law Group, a plaintiff-side employment law firm located in El Segundo, is looking for a full-time legal Intake Coordinator to serve as one of the first points of contact for prospective clients. The Intake Coordinator will support the efficient and effective administration of the intake department, evaluate potential cases, and provide essential support to the lead attorneys. The candidate must be fully bilingual, fluent in both English and Spanish.
Key Role:
Execute all aspects of intake logistics including scheduling appointments, calendaring, preparing intake documents and reports, and executing necessary steps as outlined by lead attorneys Conduct comprehensive preliminary screening of prospective cases Assess viability of cases based on established standards / guidelines Prepare summarized findings and recommendations for leadership team Perform comprehensive review and analysis of wage and hour documentation Maintain updated and organized intake database Meet regularly with key attorneys Conduct follow-up with prospective clients as required within established timeline Relay accurate and thorough information to clients regarding the intake and class action litigation process Serve as Spanish translator
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Must be fluent in Spanish Must be highly organized and reliable, self-motivated and detail oriented Exhibit strong communication skills and the ability to distill information and communicate effectively Must possess strong interpersonal skills and help prospective clients feel at ease Must have exceptional organizational skills to manage high intake volume, and handle pipeline from beginning to end, for both external referrals and in-house client calls Must possess strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, and exhibit high degree of resourcefulness Must have positive attitude and commit to a high standard of ethical and professional conduct Ability to work well independently and effectively as a member of a team Ability to analyze data, consolidate information and make clear and compelling data-driven recommendations Expected to exercise initiative, independent judgment and skill while carrying out recurring duties and developing and strengthening systems Strong ability to communicate verbally and write effectively in English and in Spanish Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, MS Word and Outlook)

Starting at $24 per hour
