Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a friendly, organized, and detail-oriented Dental Office Reception/Patient Care Coordinator to join our excellent team. This role is essential in creating a positive experience for our patients while ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of the practice. The ideal candidate will have prior dental office experience, strong communication skills, and a genuine commitment to patient care and service. Responsibilities Greet patients and manage check-in and check-out processes Schedule patient appointments for hygiene and doctor visits, ensuring accuracy and efficiency Answer and direct phone calls with professionalism and courtesy Prepare and present accurate treatment plans to patients Submit insurance claims through Dentrix and follow up on outstanding claims Handle patient billing, collections, and account management Monitor and maintain appointment schedules to meet monthly production goals Support the dental team with administrative needs while maintaining patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance Skills Two or more years of dental office experience required (front desk, treatment coordination, or similar) Proficiency with Dentrix or similar dental practice management software Strong knowledge of dental terminology, insurance processes, and billing procedures Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong organizational skills with attention to detail Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude Team-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering compassionate patient care
