Rehab Aide - Outpatient Rehab Services (Per Diem)

Job Description:

Position Summary The Rehabilitation Aide assists in patient related activities and treatment under the direct supervision of a physical, occupational, or speech therapist and performs routine duties related to the operation of the Department. The rehabilitation aides provide services within the limits of the law and may not carry out any procedure that they are not qualified or trained to provide.

Experience Required:

Ability to understand and follow directions given by the supervising therapist and Rehab Leadership team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and to multi-task and/or prioritize competing requests on an ongoing basis.

Preferred:

Previous experience with patient care, preferably in a rehabilitation setting. Proficiency in computer skills, especially Microsoft Word and Excel. Education High School graduate or equivalent. Must pass orientation and initial competency assessment prior to independent assignment of patients requiring the applicable skill, and must complete and pass all annual competencies. Licensure/Certifications American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS certification. Equal opportunity employer

Per Diem Position Type:

Per Diem Pay Range (based on years of applicable experience): $35.36 to $47.32 The hours employees work determine when a shift differential is paid.
