LOCATION
Rancho Cordova, CA Overview We are seeking an RN Patient Placement to support hospital operations by ensuring patients are assigned to the appropriate inpatient units.
Note:
This position involves zero hands-on patient care and no medical treatment or diagnosis responsibilities. Duties Assign and place patients in the correct hospital unit based on their needs and bed availability. Verify the type of bed needed (e.g., MedSurg, Telemetry, ICU) and ensure correct placement. Utilize critical thinking to identify and address inappropriate bed requests (e.g., chest pain patient placed on general MedSurg instead of Telemetry). Work efficiently across multiple computer screens and applications, including: TeleTrack Cerner Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, and multiple chat channels) Maintain clear communication with multiple departments simultaneously to coordinate patient flow and ensure timely bed assignments.
Experience:
Strong multitasking and communication skills. Experience using hospital EHR systems (Cerner experience preferred). Ability to stay organized and focused in a fast-paced environment. Prior healthcare or administrative experience is a plus, but not required. Demonstrated critical thinking and attention to detail.
Pay:
Up to $2,500.00 per week Application Question(s): Only apply if you have experience in ED or ICU; otherwise, you will be rejected.
