This role offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in medical administrative support, patient service, and health information management. As an essential member of the clinic, you will facilitate smooth daily operations, assist with patient intake, and ensure accurate documentation.

This paid position is ideal for individuals eager to start their career in healthcare and develop a comprehensive understanding of medical office procedures and systems. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly and provide excellent front desk customer service, including appointment scheduling and patient check-in/out. Manage medical records by filing, retrieving, and updating patient files while maintaining HIPAA compliance to protect patient confidentiality. Support appointment scheduling using multi-line phone systems and coordinate care plans with healthcare providers. Review documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with healthcare regulations; update electronic health records (EHR) systems accordingly. Perform general clerical duties such as data entry, typing, filing, and maintaining office supplies to ensure efficient clinic operations. Skills Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and familiarity with health information management software such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix. Exceptional patient service skills combined with professional phone etiquette and effective communication abilities. Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Bilingual skills are a plus to serve diverse patient populations effectively. Previous clinic or dental office experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.
