Access Urology is seeking a medical assistant or administrative assistant to join our practice. You will be working side-by-side with a board-certified Urologist in providing medical and surgical care to patients in need. No experience is required, as we are willing to train you in all aspects of Urology/Surgery. There is work flexibility and opportunities to build a rewarding career with us. Roles:
Greet and check-in patients upon arrival, obtain health forms and insurance cards. Answer patient calls including scheduling appointments and triaging patient questions. Obtain insurance authorizations and check insurance coverage benefits. Escort patients to exam rooms and ask about their chief complaint and history, recording in to the electronic health record. First assist in basic procedures Process surgical equipment and clean patient rooms. Take down basic patient information and physical exam findings Participate in team meetings
Others:
Bilingual in Spanish or Mandarin/Cantonese preferred Outstanding people skills and a warm, friendly manner.
Pay:
$20.00 - $25.00 per hour
