Unifeye Vision Partners is currently hiring for a Part Time Patient Service Representative, San Diego, CA . Position Summary We are seeking a friendly, compassionate, and organized Patient Service Representative to join our growing healthcare team. In this role, you will work at the front desk of our medical office and provide assistance to our patients and other visitors. You will be responsible for corresponding with patients, maintaining the organization of our office, and ensuring that our environment is welcoming, calm, and quiet for our patients and their families. Essential Responsibilities Greet patients, vendors, pharmaceutical representatives, and other visitors to our medical office in a warm and friendly manner Answer patient questions and provide assistance and directions when necessary Respond to emails that arrive using our general office email address Utilize our medical office software to schedule new and follow-up appointments for our patients Register new patients and update necessary records Distribute forms and paperwork to patients and then check them over to ensure that required fields are completed appropriately Process patient payments in office Maintain confidentiality of all patient records Ensure that the waiting room environment remains quiet, calm, and welcoming Uphold the positive reputation of our medical office by always treating visitors in a friendly, welcoming, and compassionate manner Other duties as assigned Supervisory Responsibilities None Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Minimum of 1 year of experience working in a medical practice front office setting Bilingual (Spanish) Preferred Data Entry Skills Friendly and compassionate disposition Excellent organizational and time management skills Strong interpersonal communication skills Certificates/Licenses/Registrations None Unifeye Vision Partners provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws. •This position can require travel• Pay Range $21.00 - $25.00
