See Our Benefit Rate Sheet Medical Assistant/Patient Registration Representative Full Time Starting Wage:
$ 26 /hour We have a full time, benefited position available; working 4, 10 hour shifts per week in the Trinity Community Health Clinic, for our Surgical Provider. This unique hybrid position will assist patients from the time of their clinic exams, through the insurance authorization, registration and scheduling of procedures.
Position responsibilities are as follows:
Responsible for patient flow from waiting area to exam rooms, rooming patients in a timely manner; Measure and record vital signs; Reconcile medications, allergies etc.; Record patient interview, history and chief complaint; Provide patient education as necessary; Prepare patients for examinations and performing routine screening tests; Assist the physician with procedures as necessary; Collection of lab specimens as requested. As well as obtaining insurance authorizations and gathering required pre-operation clearance information, registering and scheduling patients for their procedures and scheduling post-operative clinic visits. Our ideal candidate would have the following qualifications: Graduation from an accredited program for Certified Medical Assistants preferred, but is not required, we are willing to provide on the job training for the right candidate; CPR certification is required, we will provide that certification after hire, if necessary; Two years experience in an out-patient primary clinic preferred, but not required; Strong computer proficiency is required, as is the ability to be organized, detail oriented and professional. All candidates must be able to work well in a fast paced environment and have a positive, customer service attitude. Starting wage is $27/hour for a Certified Medical Assistant, it is $26/hour for someone not certified, both are starting wages, we may consider a higher wage depending upon experience.
