Job Description

We are a full-service litigation firm specializing in the representation of first responders (police officers, firefighters, and correctional officers). Our main office is in Westlake Village comprised of 16 attorneys and over 60 employees. Our firm represents clients in labor negotiations, internal affairs investigations, disciplinary appeals, administrative litigation, officer-involved shootings, criminal defense, personal injury litigation, employment litigation, and workers' compensation. The firm is seeking to add an Intake Coordinator the team. The Intake Desk position will be responsible for managing inbound calls, gathering injury information, and completing documentation. The position will require the ability to empathize and connect with clients.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Manage inbound calls with a high level of customer service. Conduct interviews with prospective clients to qualify and gather necessary information. Complete client intake forms and manage client communication. Use empathy to connect with prospective clients and help them understand the legal process. Demonstrate excellent telephone communication skills and the ability to quickly build rapport. Effectively communicate the services offered by the law firm to individual clients. Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to maintain focus and accuracy when multitasking. Work with case management software and other computer programs to manage client information.
Education and Experience:
High school diploma required, an associate or bachelor's degree preferred. Experience working in a customer service or call center setting. Prior experience working in a law firm or other legal setting is preferred.
