Medical Office Assistant

Job Summary Sky Health Services is a medical practice specializing in primary medical care for older adults. We are currently hiring for a medical office assistant at our Longmont location. The ideal candidate will be the face of our well established medical office and an important part of our team as we continue to grow. You will act as the provider-patient liaison, which includes troubleshooting patient concerns and communicating information to patients, family, facility staff, and our medical providers in a clear and concise manner. Some of the job responsibilities would include: Answering phones, assisting providers as part of our clinical care team, taking vitals, updating medication list, creating orders for facilities, ensuring paperwork is completed correctly. Checking patients in, taking vitals. Strong candidates will have the ability to maintain etiquette and tact while under pressure, attention to detail, critical thinking skills, must be reliable, feel at ease with patient interactions, organized, time management skills. Other desirable traits would include medical terminology and experience with older adults, whether professionally or personally. Full-time candidates would be reporting Monday-Friday 8:45 am to 5:15 pm We are committed to providing our employees with the support they need.
