Patient Access Specialist
- Boulder Valley Pulmonology Boulder Community Health
- BVP of BCH Boulder, CO Administration Full-time, Days
- 8 hour shifts, M-F start time b/w 7:45-8:30, end shift b/w 4:15

- $26.90 an hour
- Full-Time Days, 40 hours per week.

- High School graduate or GED preferred
- Prefer one-year reception experience.
- At least six months coding experience preferred
- Word processing and computer experience preferred Responsibilities
- Greets patients and visitors in a prompt, courteous and helpful manner.
- Checks in patients; verifies and updates necessary information in the medical record and into computer. Checks out patients.
- Collects payments from patients.
- Assists patients with questions about their accounts.
- Escort patient to exam room or lab when needed.
- Closes Cash Drawer at close of business
- Schedules patient appointments in the EHR, following office scheduling policies.
- Maintains lobby in neat and orderly manner.
- Answers phone, screens calls, takes messages and provides information.
- Screen visitors and responds to routine requests for information.
