Position Overview The Registrar is responsible for the comprehensive management of student academic records, course scheduling, and compliance with institutional, diocesan, and state reporting requirements. Working under the supervision of the Assistant Principal for Academics, the Registrar ensures the accuracy, integrity, and security of all student data while providing excellent service to students, families, faculty, and external institutions. Compensation for the role is $20.00- $23.50 per hour depending on education and experience Mullen reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range. - Maintain and safeguard all official student academic records, including transcripts, grades, and enrollment history, in compliance with FERPA and applicable regulations.
- Coordinate the annual course registration process, including the publication of the course catalog, scheduling of student course requests, and building of the master schedule in collaboration with the AP for Academics and department chairs.
- Process and transmit official transcripts to colleges, universities, and other requesting institutions in a timely manner.
- Manage student enrollment and withdrawal processes, including the transfer of records in and out of the school.
- Certify student eligibility for extracurricular activities, athletics, and graduation in accordance with school and governing body requirements.
- Produce and submit required state and diocesan enrollment, attendance, and academic reports.
- Manage the student information system (SIS), including data entry, accuracy audits, and user training as needed.
- Coordinate the official grade reporting process at the end of each marking period and academic year.
- Respond to inquiries from students, parents, counselors, and college admissions offices regarding transcripts and academic records.
- Collaborate with the counseling team to ensure accurate academic planning and four-year credit tracking for all students.
- Support College Counseling, Academic and Personal Counseling and Assistant Principal on special projects and programs as needed.
- Maintain records for dual enrollment, honors, and Advanced Placement course designations.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the AP for Academics or Principal. Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required; degree in Information Management, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of two years of experience in a school registrar, administrative, or data management role.
- Proficiency with student information systems (e.g., PowerSchool, Blackbaud, Veracross) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Knowledge of FERPA regulations and best practices in student data privacy.
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Commitment to the school's Lasallian mission and values.
