We are committed to delivering exceptional care and creating meaningful experiences for every resident and family we serve. This role is the first point of contact for many of our residents, families, and hospital partners. We are looking for someone who is professional, highly organized, and passionate about delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Schedule Part-Time Position Saturday, Sunday, Monday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Pay $22.00 - $26.00 per hour (based on experience) Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Admissions Coordinator to join our healthcare team. In this vital role, you will serve as the first point of contact for prospective patients, guiding them through the admissions process with enthusiasm and professionalism. Your energetic approach will help streamline patient intake, ensure accurate documentation, and foster a welcoming environment that reflects our commitment to exceptional care. If you thrive in fast-paced settings, possess strong organizational skills, and have a passion for assisting others, this opportunity is perfect for you! Responsibilities Coordinate and manage incoming admissions and referrals from hospitals and community partners Communicate clearly and professionally with hospitals, physicians, families, and internal departments Review clinical referral documentation and assist in determining admission appropriateness Ensure a smooth admissions process, including paperwork completion and room readiness coordination Provide facility tours for prospective residents and families Maintain accurate admissions records, census tracking, and documentation Collaborate closely with nursing, therapy, social services, and administrative teams Assist with insurance verification and payer source coordination as needed Support marketing and community outreach efforts to strengthen referral relationships Qualifications Previous experience in healthcare, admissions, customer service, or skilled nursing preferred Strong communication, organization, and follow-through skills Ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environment Professional, compassionate, and customer-service focused demeanor Familiarity with Medicare, Medicaid, and insurance processes preferred Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) is a plus Join our team to make a meaningful difference by ensuring smooth patient admissions while delivering outstanding service.
