Patient Service Specialist

Job Overview We are seeking a highly organized and friendly Patient Service Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our clients and visitors, providing exceptional customer support while managing various administrative tasks. This role requires a proactive individual who can multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment. Duties May greet and welcome visitors in a professional manner, ensuring a positive first impression. Answer phone calls and direct inquiries to the appropriate department or personnel. Scheduling appointments on doctor schedules. Perform insurance verification. Collecting copayments for appointments. Collecting payments for materials such as contact lens or eye glasses orders. Insurance verifications as needed Scanning documents as needed Perform data entry tasks, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality of information. Maintain filing systems, both electronic and paper-based, for easy retrieval of documents. Faxing incoming and outgoing faxing, distribute documents. Provide customer support by addressing client questions and concerns promptly. Utilize Outlook teams applications for various administrative tasks. Skills Proficient in computer literacy. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service. Ability to proofread documents meticulously to ensure high-quality output. Effective team collaboration, positive attitude towards teamwork. Customer Service.
