Experienced Automotive Title / Registration Clerk

WANTED:

Experienced Automotive Title / Registration Clerk - Must be familiar with CT On-Line Registration System, Experience with Registration rules for RI and MA and familiar with Beacon Auto Tag. Knowledge of title rules and also, experience but not required with Lien Payoffs. Other duties may include vehicle inventory management and deal breakdown, trade payoffs.

Job duties will involve:

Processing and submitting all new and used vehicle sales for title and registration in the state in which they will be titled. Submitting/scanning all required paperwork to the CT Department of Motor Vehicles. Maintaining a system to verify out-of-state titles/registrations have correct documentation. Compiling and maintaining a complete list of all outstanding title work and reporting to management on the status of any missing or problem titles. Staying abreast of Connecticut DMV laws & regulations. Breaking down deals Trade Payoffs and follow-up Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Word Strong attention to detail and the ability to multi-task Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines Cross train for Accounts payable/receivable A positive attitude and a professional appearance Must work well with others and have good communication skills Maintaining a professional appearance and a neat work area.
