Patient Access Specialist

This is on onsite position in Lewes, Delaware!

We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Patient Care Coordinator! This role is in the healthcare industry where you will be interacting with customers and patients, managing their accounts, and handling their inquiries.

Responsibilities:

• Engage in patient-facing activities and provide a high level of customer service.
• Process patient credit applications with accuracy and efficiency.
• Responsible for answering inbound calls and dealing with patient queries promptly.
• Maintain an up-to-date record of patient credit information.
• Perform authorizations, benefit functions, and billing functions as part of the role.
• Participate in clinical trial operations as required.
• Monitor patient accounts and take necessary actions based on account status.
