Responsibilities Greet patients warmly and assist them with check-in procedures, ensuring a friendly and efficient experience Schedule appointments and manage patient flow to optimize clinic operations Collect and verify patient information, including insurance details and medical history, accurately entering data into the system Answer phone calls promptly, addressing patient inquiries or directing calls to appropriate staff members Support medical staff by preparing patient charts, updating records, and handling administrative paperwork Educate patients on clinic policies, appointment protocols, and necessary documentation to enhance their understanding and comfort Maintain a clean, organized reception area and ensure compliance with healthcare privacy regulations Requirements Previous experience working in a medical office or healthcare environment (A MUST) Knowledge of medical terminology to facilitate effective communication with clinical staff and patients Strong background in medical administrative support, including appointment scheduling and data entry Office experience demonstrating proficiency with computers, electronic health records (EHR), and office equipment Experience working in dental offices is a plus but not required Excellent communication skills with the ability to remain calm and professional under pressure Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining attention to detail This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to contribute to quality patient care while honing their skills in medical administration.
