As a critical member of our healthcare organization, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless patient admissions and discharges, while providing exceptional customer service to our patients and families.

Responsibilities:

Coordinate patient admissions and discharges in a timely and efficient manner Verify patient insurance coverage and obtain necessary authorizations Collaborate with healthcare providers, insurance companies, and other stakeholders to resolve any issues or concerns Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and data Provide excellent customer service to patients, families, and healthcare providers Participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve patient satisfaction and outcomes Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred Minimum 2 years of experience in healthcare admissions or a related field Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills Proficiency in electronic medical records and computer software applications
