Admissions Coordinator 674 Pioneer Road, Jupiter, FL 33458 Full-time Full-time Admissions Coordinator We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Admissions Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring a smooth and efficient admissions process for prospective residents and their families. This position requires strong interpersonal skills, a collaborative mindset, and a thorough understanding of skilled nursing facility operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate and manage the admissions process for all incoming residents. Conduct facility tours for prospective residents and their families, providing detailed information about services, amenities, and care plans. Assist in the completion of admission paperwork, ensuring compliance with state, federal, and facility regulations. Verify insurance coverage and ensure all necessary financial documentation is accurate and complete. Collaborate with the clinical and operational teams to ensure a seamless transition for new residents. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the admissions database. Act as the primary point of contact for referrals from hospitals, physicians, and other healthcare professionals. Develop and maintain strong relationships with referral sources to generate new admissions leads. Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members to address concerns or questions regarding the admissions process.Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate or Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, social work, or a related field preferred. Previous experience in admissions, marketing, or customer service, preferably in a healthcare or SNF setting. Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurance policies. Strong organizational and time management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with healthcare software systems. Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.Benefits:
