Responsibilities:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Medical AR (Accounts Receivable) specialist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for knowledge of medical coding, and to facilitate timely Accounts Receivable collections.

Experience:

Expertise with all aspects of account receivables

Duties:

Process and submit medical billing claims to insurance companies and patients. Review and verify patient information, including insurance coverage and eligibility. Collaborate with healthcare providers to resolve billing discrepancies or issues. Stay updated on changes in medical billing regulations, coding practices, and insurance policies. Managing the insurance contracts on yearly basis and price negotiations with health insurance companies, office vendors, service providers. Knowledge and experience with ECW is preferred. Knowledge of medical office software (email tools, spreadsheets and database) and proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS Outlook, in particular) Strong organizational and planning skills in a fast-paced environment. Someone with a creative mind and ability to suggest improvements and implement those changes in a healthy, stimulating, positive and constructive environment.
