Job Description:
Shift:
Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm. Some weekends and evenings
Address:
Remote but reports to 2501 N. Orange Avenue, Orlando, FL 32804 Manages the Medical Staff Education Committee, including member notifications, agenda preparation, and minute documentation. Oversees local and national CME programs, ensuring adherence to accreditation standards from application to evaluation. Tracks and manages all CME funds, including commercial support, to ensure compliance with ACCME Standards for Commercial Support. Updates Medical Staff Physicians on current standards, changes, and relicensure requirements. Facilitates and coordinates mandatory CME requirements for physicians and maintains a history of their CME courses. Processes, files, and distributes all required reports to maintain compliance with accrediting bodies and meet documentation needs. Maintains accreditation as a CME provider with the American Osteopathic Association. Handles initial credentialing and recredentialing with all insurance carriers for the faculty of Medical Education. Performs other duties as assigned or directed by the Medical Education Administrator to ensure smooth department operations. Performs other duties as assigned. Coordinates and facilitates all Physician Continuing Medical Education (CME) activities.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Prior knowledge of educational program development [Preferred]
  • Strong organizational skills [Preferred]
  • Well developed communication, both verbal and written, skills [Preferred]
  • Computer skills, which include prior use of word processing, email and spreadsheets.

Pay Range:
