The Admissions Coordinator will be responsible for working directly with prospective clients and families on inquiry/intake calls, and coordinate client screenings and admissions for mental health or substance abuse treatment .

Responsibilities:

Answers inquiry calls efficiently and courteously and answers any questions callers may have that are of a non-clinical nature; appropriately transfers calls if clinical issues arise Coordinates and schedules prospective patient screenings Coordinates and processes all admissions to the facility Obtains demographic and insurance/financial information during inquiry calls Forwards insurance coverage information to billing unit, verifying insurance information as necessary Maintains spreadsheet of prospects and where they are in the process Minimum of 1 year of experience as an admissions coordinator at a mental health/behavioral health or substance use disorder treatment center is required

Required Qualifications :
