Job Description

Overview Plays a vital role in assisting patients with understanding and managing their financial responsibilities related to medical care. Guides patients through insurance verification, explaining benefits, and coordinating payment plans or financial assistance programs. Communicates to resolve billing inquiries and collaborates with healthcare providers and billing departments to maintain accurate account information. Educates patients on financial resources, monitors outstanding balances, and ensures thorough documentation of all interactions and arrangements. Responsibilities Key Responsibilities

Qualifications Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required . College degree or related coursework preferred
Experience:
  • 3+ years of experience in patient financial counseling or account management.
  • Expertise in insurance verification and explaining patient benefits.
  • Experience coordinating payment plans and financial assistance programs.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of healthcare billing regulations and patient privacy standards.
Qualifications:
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required . College degree or related coursework preferred
Experience:
