Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Patient Service Representative, where your enthusiasm and dedication will make a meaningful difference in patient care. In this vital role, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing administrative tasks with precision and professionalism. Your proactive approach will help ensure smooth clinic operations, foster positive patient experiences, and support our mission to deliver compassionate healthcare. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly and assist them with check-in and check-out procedures to create a welcoming environment. Verify patient information, insurance details, and appointment schedules accurately to facilitate seamless visits. Answer incoming calls promptly, address inquiries, and schedule or reschedule appointments efficiently. Collect and process payments, co-pays, and insurance documentation with attention to detail. Maintain organized patient records, update electronic health records (EHR), and ensure confidentiality at all times. Coordinate with medical staff to confirm appointment times and prepare necessary documentation for patient visits. Support medical administrative tasks such as faxing, scanning, and filing documents to keep the office running smoothly. Qualifications Prior experience working in a medical or dental office setting is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of medical terminology to accurately communicate with patients and staff. Proven ability to provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with medical administrative support functions such as scheduling, billing, and record keeping. Office experience demonstrating organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a friendly demeanor.
