Dental Insurance Coordinator

Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Insurance Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing insurance processes and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations. This position requires strong organizational skills and a solid understanding of medical terminology, coding, and insurance verification. The Insurance Coordinator will work closely with medical staff to facilitate effective communication and ensure accurate billing practices. Responsibilities Verify patient insurance coverage and benefits prior to services rendered. Process insurance claims accurately and timely, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of managed care policies and procedures. Collaborate with healthcare providers to resolve any discrepancies in patient records or claims. Previous experience in a medical office or dental office setting is preferred. Dentrix knowledge preferred. Strong understanding of managed care systems and insurance verification processes. Experience with medical records management and compliance with HIPAA regulations. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail. Ability to communicate effectively with patients, healthcare providers, and insurance companies. Familiarity with office procedures and administrative tasks related to healthcare operations.
